BSBC is a growing body of believers located in Lowndes County in the town of Caledonia. We are a multigenerational church and have experienced growth in young families attending and becoming involved in the church and we currently average around 140 people in attendance on Sunday mornings.
This position will be responsible for implementing discipleship programs at Border Springs, along with building an outreach program designed to teach our congregation the importance of sharing the gospel locally by developing outreach and mission opportunities. This individual will work closely with, and report to, the Senior Pastor in developing outreach and mission opportunities. This individual should be a self-starter with strong organizational skills and be able to work with others.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Plan and oversee local outreach events and initiatives to engage the community, build relationships, and share the gospel in practical and impactful way. Equip and mobilize the congregation to actively participate in outreach efforts by providing training, resources, and opportunities to serve their local communities. Organize and lead mission events, ensuring proper preparation, training, and follow-up to engage the congregation in hands-on ministry opportunities.
