Global Missions Coordinator
Job Description

The Global Missions Coordinator position is responsible for maintaining existing relationships with global partners while working as the sending coordinator for short-term mission trips,1:11 Project, GAP, and Residency Program. This position is supervised by and reports to the Associate Pastor of Administration & Missions.

Short-Term Mission Trips:
Produce mission marketing information
Recruit, train, and mobilize volunteers
Lead Interest Meetings
Secure flight, visas, and other travel material
Lead short-term mission trips
Maintain personal relationships with field personnel

1:11 Project (College Summer Mission Program):
Coordinate summer mission opportunities
Budget and coordinate 1:11 staff
Assess, train, & prep students

GAP Program and Residency (Global Ambassador Partnership):
Counsel candidates considering 6-month to 2-year options
Identify long-term global missional opportunities
Create MOU’s for GAP staff
Identify new missional partnerships
Assist with budgeting

Compensation
• Based on missional or ministry related experience
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance (portion to be paid by employee), retirement
• Mission trip travel expense account to cover cost of flights, hotels, food, travel insurance, and incidentals
