We are a small, loving, Christ-centered Southern Baptist congregation located in the heart of our tight-knit hometown community. Our church has a legacy of faith and fellowship, and we are centered on spreading the power of salvation thru our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We seeking a dedicated pastor to lead our congregation. Our close-knit church is looking for a caring shepherd who will preach God’s word, nurture spiritual growth, and engage with our community.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver Bible-based sermons Wednesday evening, Sunday AM & PM
• Lead worship services and prayer meetings, including scheduled church revival services
• Visit and support members, especially those in need
• Guide church outreach and community involvement, support missions
• Work with deacons and church volunteers, support youth outreach
Qualifications:
• Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Agreement with Baptist beliefs and values
• Previous ministry experience preferred, but committed candidates answering God’s call are encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to be actively involved in the life of our small town.
