First Baptist Church Moss Point is a church in South Mississippi who is prayerfully seeking a man of God to be our full-time pastor to be a part of a loving church family, with a heart for ministering to our community, meeting the needs of our congregation and a desire to preach and teach the Gospel.
General requirements:
- Must be a follower of Jesus Christ and have doctrinal beliefs that are consistent with the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.
- Understanding of and willingness to minister within the church’s statement of faith.
- A lifestyle congruent with the biblical requirements for leaders (1 Tim. 3:1-1; 2 Tim. 2; Titus 1:5-9)
- A calling to pastoral ministry.
- Must be a passionate and consistent disciple maker.
