Gore Springs Baptist Church is a long-established church located in the community of Gore Springs, MS, fourteen miles from Grenada, MS. The majority of our congregation are senior citizens. We meet for Sunday School and Worship on Sunday mornings and sometimes have adult discipleship classes on Sunday evenings. We meet for Bible Study, prayer, and Children’s missions on Wednesday evenings. We have many unchurched people living within six miles of the church, and we are engaged in an outreach ministry to them. There is a parsonage available, but we may be able to negotiate for the pastor to live in his own home. We would prefer that the pastor have a seminary degree, or be currently pursuing one. We are prayerfully seeking God’s direction to find the next pastor to lead our church family and staff in fulfilling the Great Commission and living the Great Commandment of Jesus Christ our Lord.
