2027 Trip: March 6-12 Oaxaca, Mexico

The Edge Program is a new initiative to come along our churches to provide avenues for high school students to live out their faith.  We are looking for up to 12 faithful and maturing students that will be willing to step out and learn to share their faith locally, but also in a cross-cultural context.  We want these young men and women to grow in their understanding of evangelism and their heart for missions.

Interested students need to complete the application along with references.  These will be evaluated with the students across Mississippi being chosen.  Those accepted must agree and complete all the requirements. One of those being attending a mandatory 2-day evangelism and cross-cultural training in February at Central Hills Baptist Retreat Center.

The process will culminate with a mission trip to Oaxaca, Mexico serving along IMB missionaries from Mississippi. Our time there will be spent in further training in evangelism, learning the local customs, and going out daily with local believers to share our faith with those who do not know Jesus.
