Dixie National Rodeo Ministry
Since 2016, Mississippi Baptist volunteers have led people to Christ at the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board (MBCB) evangelism booth on the midway of the Dixie National Livestock Show and Rodeo at the State Fairgrounds in Jackson.

Missions Mobilization
Pray for more Mississippi Baptist churches to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.

Women's Ministries / WMU
Pray for women serving in the local church. Whether they are serving as a Women’s Ministry Leader, WMU Leader, or other Ministry Leader, ask God to help them make disciples who live on mission.

Multicultural Ministries
The Multicultural Ministries Department works cross-culturally throughout Mississippi to touch lives with the Gospel message.

Church Planting & Revitalization
The Church Planting and Revitalization Department serves alongside Cooperating Churches to unify and multiply the local church by starting new plants and strengthening existing churches in fulfillment of the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

Lifeway Research reports that 18.5% of Southern Baptist churches are growing, 42.5% are plateaued, and 39% are declining. Churches founded in the 20th century are the most likely to be declining—45% of those started between 1950 and 1999 and 39% of those that began between 1900 and 1949.

Church Planting
The early church, as described by Paul in Acts 2:42-47, was excited about and committed to multiplication. We desire to see this same reaction spreading across our churches.

Senior Adult Ministry across Mississippi
According to Discipleship/Sunday School Department Director Dwayne Parker, “There are Senior Adult events planned for 2025. Last year, we revamped an event that previously focused on the Senior Adult minister and opened it to all senior adult leadership (paid or volunteer director or committee). The event is called S.A.L.T. (Senior Adult Leadership Training). It was successful, and we hope to see it continue. We also will host Senior Adult Refresh events in May. I am looking forward to Andrew Harper’s leadership in this area.” Pray for this specific area of ministry.

Disaster Relief
Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief is a cooperative ministry of individuals, churches, and associations affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention who are committed to making themselves available to help those affected by natural and man-made disaster situations. Pray for those individuals affected by these events. Pray for those who are committed to bringing help, hope, and healing in Jesus’ Name to those facing disaster situations. Pray for those who would consider joining the efforts of disaster relief.
