March 23
Senior Adult Ministry across Mississippi
According to Discipleship/Sunday School Department Director Dwayne Parker, “There are Senior Adult events planned for 2025. Last year, we revamped an event that previously focused on the Senior Adult minister and opened it to all senior adult leadership (paid or volunteer director or committee). The event is called S.A.L.T. (Senior Adult Leadership Training). It was successful, and we hope to see it continue. We also will host Senior Adult Refresh events in May. I am looking forward to Andrew Harper’s leadership in this area.” Pray for this specific area of ministry.

Disaster Relief
Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief is a cooperative ministry of individuals, churches, and associations affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention who are committed to making themselves available to help those affected by natural and man-made disaster situations. Pray for those individuals affected by these events. Pray for those who are committed to bringing help, hope, and healing in Jesus’ Name to those facing disaster situations. Pray for those who would consider joining the efforts of disaster relief.

Week of Prayer & AAEO - NAMB
North America is a mission field in need of hope. Bible Drill in Mississippi
Bible Drill is a wonderful opportunity for children and students in the church. Participating children and students will develop skills in the use of the Bible, increase their knowledge of the Bible, and learn how to apply the Bible to everyday life experiences. Pray for the students to have clarity of mind as they practice for Bible Drill and an eagerness to receive and record His Word in their hearts.
April 20
Pray for Pastors (Easter Sunday)
Easter is the heart of the Christian faith. Pastors are usually excited about the expected larger crowds that bring a burst of spring energy. At the same time, Easter often brings added stress to the privilege of pastoring. Additional services require more planning and stamina. Pray for pastors who feel enormous pressure to have their sermons match the greatness of the subject of the RESURRECTION OF JESUS!
April 27
Personal Evangelism Commitment
Personal Evangelism Commitment Day is a great opportunity for pastors in Mississippi to encourage church members to pray for the salvation of lost loved ones and friends by name. Also, it is a great time to provide church-wide training for personal evangelism in worship services or small groups. Pray for Southern Baptists to feel the urgency of sharing the Gospel and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to evangelize.
