JOB DESCRIPTION: Associate Pastor / Adult Discipleship (2025)
The Associate Pastor/Adult Discipleship reports directly to the Pastor and is responsible for working with members of the church and other appropriate personnel in planning, promoting and implementing a comprehensive program of discipleship and missions for adults within the common concepts of that discipline. Assisting the Pastor in general pastor duties as needed will be expected.
QUALITICATIONS: Christian Faith; Gifted with Preaching and Teaching abilities; Administrative Skills; Interpersonal Skills
Seminary Education – Preferred but not required: Masters of Divinity.

FBC Brookhaven is located in the vibrant, downtown area of the city. It is a multi-generational church with a strong commitment to mission work and the Cooperative Program. The church staff includes the Pastor; Associate Pastor/Worship and Media; Associate Pastor/Students; Children’s Ministry Director; four ministry assistants; Church Property Director and a full-day WeeCare program director. Included in the final building renovation of the campus is the Adult Education Department. It is scheduled to be completely in 2026.
