JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ASSOCIATE PASTOR AND MINISTER TO STUDENTS
Mission Purpose:
To live a life of integrity while leading students and others to love the Lord and obey His Word.
Service Relationships:
The Associate Pastor and Minister to Students takes direction from, reports to, and is under the leadership of the Senior Pastor.
Primary Responsibilities
• To provide pastoral ministry to the students, their families, and volunteers
• To create and implement an evangelism and discipleship strategy for students
• To coordinate, plan, and lead Wednesday night student worship services
• To participate in school campus ministries
• To work with the Nominating Committee in enlisting adults to serve in the student ministry
• To disciple, train, and encourage adults who serve in student ministry
• To equip, and encourage the parents of students
• To assist in providing opportunities for students and their families to be involved in missions and ministry
• To be present in the lives of students and their families
• To plan and present an annual student ministry budget proposal and administer that budget as approved by the church
• To engage in personal evangelism and discipleship
• To attend staff meetings and other applicable meetings
• To maintain office hours
• To perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor (hospital visits, pulpit supply, duties when the senior pastor is out)

• Meet the Biblical qualifications in Titus 1:5-9, 1 Timothy 3:1-7, 1 Peter 5:1-4
