FBC Long Beach was constituted in 1909. The church is located on a 17-acre campus in the heart of our city, next to the middle school and high school. We have an active membership that consists of 650. Long Beach is a thriving community experiencing steady growth and new opportunities.
We are seeking an Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Outreach who is a professing and practicing Christian and a minister of the Lord Jesus Christ, willing to serve all of the fellowship of First Baptist Church, Long Beach. He should have experienced a call of God to the Gospel Ministry and should feel a definite leading of the Holy Spirit to serve at FBCLB. The person in this position is responsible for developing, leading, and overseeing all discipleship programs. He will also lead the church in evangelistic efforts and community outreach.
