FBC Holly Springs is prayerfully seeking an Associate Pastor/Student Minister. This individual will oversee all ministries to students, ages first grade through college, with an emphasis on junior high and high school students. He will lead a Wednesday night youth rally each week in our gymnasium (Christian Activity Center). He will be responsible for at least one special youth activity each month. He will take part in Vacation Bible School and will plan each year to take our youth group to Centrifuge or MFuge, or some other Christian camp experience of his choosing.
As an Associate Pastor, he will assist the pastor in pastoral ministry throughout the week (visiting in hospitals, nursing homes, etc.) He will moderate the worship service on Sunday morning by leading in the greeting and opening prayer and by giving the announcements. He will be given the option of preaching when the pastor is to be absent on a given Sunday.
College and some seminary are preferred, but not required.
The total of the compensation for this position is $53,000.
