To assist, encourage, support, and help the churches of Pontotoc County Baptist Association, Inc. in the endeavor to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8).
-Being a source of ministry to the people of Pontotoc County Baptist Association, Inc. by:
a. Hosting Monday Morning Prayer Time
b. Visiting the Associational Churches
c. Ministering to the Pastors of the Association
d. Supply preaching within the Association as needed
e. Helping churches and their committees during interim time as needed and requested by the church
f. Other ways as approved by the Administration Committee
– Oversee and direct the administration of Pontotoc County Baptist Association, Inc., especially in regard to our Associational Executive Committee as well as the other Associational Committees.
-Oversee and direct the office and personnel of Pontotoc County Baptist Association, Inc.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of five (5) years pastoral/ministerial experience preferred
2. Have earned at least a college degree with seminary preferred
3. Possess a strong background and commitment to the Southern Baptist Convention
4. Must be active in the conventions at the National, State and Associational levels
5. Must be ordained
