Church Administrator Job Description

The Administrator ensures that all the day-to-day operations are running smoothly, which allows other church staff and members to focus on ministry and outreach.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the daily operations of the church office and facilities.
2. Coordinating church events including setting up, etc., and managing the church calendar.
3. Purchasing and collecting necessary supplies when needed for special and/or regular events.
4. Ensuring effective communication within the church staff, congregational members, and external contacts.
5. Managing church financial records, including bookkeeping, budgeting, and payroll in coordination with the finance team. However, major financial decisions are made by church leadership
6. Maintaining church member records and databases.
7. Facilitating church communications such as newsletters, bulletins, and emails.
8. Developing, implementing, and managing a social media strategy.
9. Supervising the maintenance, janitorial and security of church property.
10. Assisting in the preparation of worship materials and programs.
11. Implementing and improving administrative processes for better efficiency.
12. Collaborating closely with church leadership to align administrative functions with the church’s mission.
13. Any other duties assigned by the Pastor.
