Director of Family MinstriesFull-Time

Adaton Baptist Church in Starkville, MS is prayerfully seeking the full time Director of Family Ministries that God has chosen to care for and support the families of our congregation and community.
Adaton is a growing community about 5 miles west of Starkville, MS, home to Mississippi State University and a variety of public and private schools. Our church is a multi-generational congregation with a variety of ministries and activities to reach all ages for Christ, as evidenced by over 100 years of faithful service to this community.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement the family ministry of Adaton Baptist Church.
2. Guide and coordinate the established ministries of our church.
3. Oversee ministry programs such as, but not limited to:
Wednesday night/Sunday educational classes
Children and youth summer camps
Vacation Bible School
Annual outreach events
4. Assist in choosing, ordering, and distributing curriculum for family ministries.
5. Recruit and equip volunteers for family ministry opportunities.
6. Find and coordinate appropriate mission opportunities for small groups and ministry teams.
7. Assist ministry teams with preparing and submitting annual budgets
