Black Jack Baptist Church in Vaughan MS is prayerfully seeking a full time pastor to lead our congregation of approximately one hundred fifty active members . Our memberships ages range from newborn to ninety plus years old. Black Jack is located in rural Yazoo county and has experienced a wonderful season of growth over the last two years . Our Sunday worship service includes a mixture of contemporary songs and classical hymns to appeal to all our age groups .
We are a mission minded church and support many local, national, and international mission projects . We have sent a group of volunteers to Honduras each summer for the last two years.
We employ a part time youth minister and have numerous volunteers who lead our children’s ministries. Wednesday night activities include adult bible study and classes for all age children and youth . A meal is provided before the activities begin to promote fellowship within the congregation. While not required the church prefers that its pastor has formal training in Christian ministry .
In 2021 a new three bedroom two bath pastorium was built directly beside the church.
