Established in 1979, Gunter Road Baptist Church is in Florence, Mississippi. We are a smaller, older congregation that is making renewed effort to reach out into our community, as well as reconnecting with inactive members and prospects. We have Sunday School and morning worship on Sunday mornings and a Wednesday night Bible study and prayer time to equip church members to live and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are prayerfully seeking a part-time Minister of Music to lead the church in Christ-centered worship services. The Minister of Music will collaborate closely with the Pastor, Pianist, and Deacons in preparing Sunday morning and Wednesday night worship services. Seminary and college musical training are not required for interested candidates but experience leading church worship services is preferred.
