Minister of MusicBivocational/Part-Time

FBCR is seeking a Holy Spirit filled worship leader. Our congregation enjoys a blended service that incorporates both traditional hymns and contemporary music to serve our multigenerational family. The ideal candidate will be rooted in scripture, lead with thanksgiving and have a background that exemplifies their faith. This part time position requires a heart full of grace, love and joy!
The main focus for this minister of music will be promoting and developing the music ministry to lead to the salvation of the lost and the discipleship of believers. This minister of music’s role will include leading the choir (approximately 25 people including the Praise Team), a six-person worship band (pianist, keyboardist, drummer and guitarists), preparing the order of worship, maintaining music library, visiting sick/hospitalized choir members and other duties that involves media and other technical skills. Additional responsibilities include assisting the pastor in planning regular and special worship services; providing music for funerals/weddings or other associated events at the church and other duties related to the music program.
