Clear Branch Baptist Church is a growing congregation in Rankin County seeking a Bi-Vocational Minister of Music to lead our church in Christ-centered worship through a blend of contemporary and traditional music.
The Minister of Music will provide leadership for the church’s worship ministry and work alongside the pastor and church leadership to help cultivate meaningful worship that glorifies God and engages the congregation.
Primary Responsibilities
• Lead congregational worship during Sunday morning services.
• Lead and coordinate the church praise team.
• Select and prepare music that reflects a blend of contemporary and traditional worship styles.
• Organize and lead weekly praise team rehearsals.
• Work with church leadership in planning worship services and special events.
Weekly Schedule Expectations
• Lead music during Sunday morning worship service.
• Participate in Sunday evening group Bible study.
• Lead praise team rehearsal on Wednesday evenings.
Qualifications
• A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christian ministry.
• Ability to lead worship vocally and provide leadership for a praise team.
• Appreciation for both contemporary and traditional styles of church music.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Willingness to serve in a bi-vocational ministry role and work collaboratively with church leadership.
