Raymond Road Baptist Church is a mixture of rural and urban ministry, situated at the edge of south Jackson. There is an unusual and God-given warmth and lovingkindness among our church family. Our mission is to Love the Lord with all that we are, and to Love our Neighbors in Jackson, Raymond, Byram, Terry, Clinton, and beyond.
We are looking for a man or woman whom God calls to join us in a part-time or bivocational way as our minister of music.
Our future music minister will lead our worship weekly, will organize our music ministry, and will lovingly develop us as we seek to worship. For now, our music ministry consists of a choir, a praise band led by our pianist, a men’s vocal group, a women’s vocal group, a student/kids choir, and a handbell group. We currently livestream our worship via Facebook, and publish sermons via YouTube. Our website is at www.raymondroad.com.
We are FERVENTLY PRAYING that the Lord will call a person to join our team who will be able to lead us in worship music that is biblically faithful and emotionally engaging, and that is from BOTH ancient traditions AND modern music ministries.
