Willow Grove Baptist Church located in Collins, MS is prayerfully seeking to find the Minister of Students for our church that God has chosen for us. The position is part-time/bi-vocational. The principle function shall be to be in charge of, and provide leadership for the total student program of the church. The regular duties of the Minister of Students shall be:
To be actively involved in the congregational worship services of the church. To work with the Pastor and Minister of Music to plan and conduct a meaningful worship service. To work with and answer to the pastor and/or deacons for all student activities both on and off site. To conduct a meaningful Bible study with students each week which includes teaching Sunday School, Sunday night, and Wednesday night. To communicate with students, parents, grandparents or guardians of all activities with the student ministry.
Responsibilities: Shall be aware of need for repairs to any and all equipment used in the student area and report findings to proper departments. Shall serve as a member of the church council. Shall be responsible for insuring ministry responsibilities are performed in his/her absence.
Time off: Two weeks’ vacation per calendar year. All other time off must be approved by the pastor and deacons. All additional time off may incur a reduction of pay. May be absent for one revival per calendar year.
