West McComb Baptist Church is a SBC congregation located in the Sunny Hill community of McComb just one mile west of I-55. We are currently seeking a Minister of Youth that meets this description:
A. Requirements/Qualifications
1. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent thereof
2. Must have a clear call to ministry
3. Must have experience teaching youth
B. Time on Church Field
1. This is a part-time position
2. Minister shall keep appropriate amount of office hours which shall be coordinated with the pastor
3. Minister shall give spiritual counseling to youth when needed
4. Minister shall support and participate in church visitation
D. General Responsibilities
1. Minister shall strive to be a Christian example
2. Minister shall have a daily quiet time with the Lord.
3. Minister shall tithe
4. Minister shall lead the youth of the church by helping bring the lost to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, & encourage, exhort, and disciple the youth in their Christian walks.
5. Minister shall coordinate all activities, programs, & classes dealing with the youth to insure leadership & spiritual growth.
6. Minister shall teach one youth Sunday School class & lead Youth Bible study on Sunday & Wednesday nights
7. Minister will make an effort to attend youth functions of individual students
