Established in 1863, Center Hill Baptist Church (CHBC) is a multi-generational church located in Hamilton, MS in southern Monroe County. The church campus has received multiple renovations, including the youth center, the main sanctuary and the most recent, in 2024, which included the Family Life Building, gymnasium and playground. We are prayerfully seeking an individual or couple to serve as our Minister of Youth/Children. This individual or couple should be passionate about discipleship and willing to go out into the community in order to reach the kids who are currently unchurched. The position is a bi-vocational or possibly a full-time position with a competitive compensation package, which could include housing at the parsonage, if needed. The main responsibilities would be to lead the Youth during Sunday night worship, Wednesday night discipleship and provide oversight of the Children’s programs along with help from the Sr. Pastor and Children’s Committee. Additional responsibilities would be planning Youth missions, summer camps and other events. Qualifications and Requirements: Maturing follower of Christ, committed to Christ-likeness, adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, self-motivated individual(s) able to create and implement ideas and programs, clear communicator, attend staff meetings and maintain office hours set by the Sr. Pastor.
