BSBC is a growing body of believers located in Lowndes County in the town of Caledonia. We are a multigenerational church and have experienced growth in young families attending and becoming involved in the church and we currently average around 140 people in attendance on Sunday mornings.
We are blessed to have a praise team along with several instrumentalists and we currently utilize Proclaim as our platform to provide visual aids (announcements, song lyrics, etc….) during worship services. Our congregation enjoys a blended worship service of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music grounded in Biblical Truth.
The Music Minister at BSBC will work closely with, and report to, the Senior Pastor in shaping the worship experiences. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Directing the planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating a comprehensive music program in preparing groups, soloists, choirs, and audio/visual personnel for internal and external ministry. Planning and arranging an “Order of Service” for worship services. Overseeing filming and streaming needs in the total church program. Monitoring the purchasing, maintenance, and replacement of all music-related equipment, supplies, and instruments. Attending Church Leadership Team meetings, staff meetings, and other special meetings when requested.
