Pineview is a small church with a desire to grow and impact our community for Jesus. We enjoy each other! And we want others to experience the love of Christ among us. We are currently working to revive interest in younger families through children’s events and meeting our neighbors. We serve various ministries selected by our Missions Committee monthly. Our motto is “Developing Devoted Disciples” and we are working with that aim in the forefront, providing various ways to do so. We are friendly, caring and prayerful.
Our worship leader will lead corporate worship on Sunday mornings, including securing soloists or singing groups, choir when enlisted, and musicians. He or she will practice as needed with these participants, working with the pastor to select music in concert with his message each week. We desire some college education, but not specifically in pursuit of a music degree. Some choral training or experience in music leadership and being able to direct a choir is preferred. Personality-wise, we would love someone upbeat, energetic, positive, encouraging, and organized. Our candidate must subscribe to the beliefs set forth in The Baptist Faith & Message. We enjoy a mix of hymns and contemporary music.
