Music PastorBivocational/Part-Time

BEL AIRE is over 50 years old. We have a multi-generational congregation with activities directed to reach all ages for Christ and lead them to grow as disciples of Christ. The person in this position must meet biblical qualifications of a pastor/elder, be in full agreement with the church’s doctrinal statements, seminary is preferred. Experience in leading a multi-faceted music ministry, skilled vocalist and/or instrumentalist with strong worship leadership abilities. Theologically sound and committed to Christ exalting, Scripture-saturated worship. Able to work closely and humbly alongside fellow elders and other ministry volunteers. Passionate about musical leadership and pastoral care. They will lead and organize all musical aspects of weekly worship services, plan services in collaboration with the preaching pastor. Oversee, recruit, train and shepherd musicians, singers, and technical volunteers. Lead rehearsals, teach, disciple and shepherd within the congregation as a pastor, participate actively in elder meeting, oversee the music budget, equipment needs. Various other items as needed.
