Chalybeate Baptist Church is a historic church founded in 1843. The church has been serving the community for 180 years. We are located near Walnut, MS. We are a church family seeking to reach our communities for Christ. We have been teaching children and youth through the AWANA program since 2011. We are prayerfully seeking God’s direction to find the next pastor to lead our church family. We would prefer a pastor with a bible degree or seminary education. Our salary range is $45,000 to $50,000 and a recently renovated parsonage is available on site.
The Lord has blessed us with a historic building and a recently built Family Life Building. Our community has good local businesses and is about 20 minutes from Ripley or Corinth, MS. There is a very good preK through 8th grade school across the highway from the church and a quality high school 2 miles away.
