We seek a pastor to lead our congregation in the Brewer Community of Lee County, Mississippi. We seek someone dedicated to spiritual growth and community engagement who embodies our values of believing the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. The Bible is our ultimate standard for life and living; it has God as its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter. There is salvation in no other name than the name of Jesus Christ, and it is free through God’s grace to all who will repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Our purpose is to glorify God in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with a lost and dying world while helping our members live out their faith in walking closer to the Lord through worship, ministry, missions, and small group Bible studies, while walking closer to each other through fellowship and closer to the lost through personal evangelism.
Our pastor must embody qualities from 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9. Duties include leading worship, administering ordinances, counseling, teaching, overseeing church activities, and community outreach. Responsibilities also involve maintaining church policies, fostering open communication, and being accountable to the congregation and deacons.
