New Prospect Baptist church is currently seeking a full time pastor. Founded in 1845 as a mission we are a rural church located in the Lackey community about 6 miles south of Aberdeen, Ms. Our congregation consists of about 120 members on roll. We are seeking God’s guidance in leading us to the man he has prepared. Candidate must be God called, caring and able to relate to all ages from preschool to senior adults. We have a campus we think is well suited to serve our community. Campus consists of sanctuary building with classrooms, offices, nursery and choir room. Adjacent to sanctuary is our Family Life Building with pastors office, fellowship hall, kitchen and full gymnasium. Attached to this building is our youth building with office, classrooms and upstairs a large meeting room. There is a parsonage on campus. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms,carport and separate garage. Living in parsonage not a requirement and is negotiable. We also have a cemetery on site. Compensation package will be relative to experience.
