Palmer Baptist Church, established in 1917, is a growing family-oriented church near Ripley, Mississippi, with a strong youth-oriented program, as well as members in all age ranges. We have experienced significant growth over the last fifteen years, and are looking to continue our growth, as well as our ministries in our community. We are prayerfully seeking God’s man to lead our Church, and we are fully aware that God already knows who that man will be. Our prayer is that God will prepare our Congregation, as well as His chosen Pastor for our church and will, in His time, reveal this to both His chosen man, to our Pastor Search Committee and to our Membership.
Our current attendance ranges between 100 and 150, and our sanctuary, which was built in 2017, will seat up to 250. We believe in the Great Commission, and subscribe to and try to model the Baptist Faith and Message, so we are looking for someone to further those beliefs and goals led, of course, by the Holy Spirit. We have a church parsonage, but we will work with potential candidates who wish to live in their own home.
