Our church is located in the small Busy Corner community of Amite County, Mississippi. We are a country church that love the Lord, love one another, and care genuinely for our community and church.
Our previous pastor recently retired after serving our church faithfully for 12 years. We presently have Sunday school and church services on Sunday morning, Sunday night and on Wednesdays. We have a wide range of ages in our congregation and our young married churchgoers continue to grow, and we currently have around 15 young people involved in our youth group. One of the greatest strengths of our church is simply our people. We are loving, compassionate, friendly, and here to serve through bible studies, youth and children’s activities.
We also have a very good working relationship between our church staff and deacons, who together share a desire to further God’s Kingdom. Our worship is Christ centered, and we seek the Holy Spirit to lead our services and the direction of our church.
We believe there are many opportunities for growth in our church. Many people are moving into our area and the church also has a parsonage that is currently being renovated. There is a lot that we love about our church, and we believe there are many opportunities ahead. We are trusting God to lead us as we seek our next pastor.
