Topeka Baptist Church is an 85-year-old church located in the Topeka community, about 10 miles south of Monticello, MS. We are a multi-generational church. We are prayerfully seeking God’s direction to find the next pastor at our church to lead our church family. The pastor will be responsible for leading the Church in functioning as a New Testament Church. The pastor will lead the congregation, the organizations, and the Church staff in performing their tasks. A major concern of the pastor is to perform pastoral responsibilities. The pastor will be the leader of worship, proclamation, education and pastoral ministries.
Seminary education is preferred. We have a church parsonage, but we are open to the possibility of a housing allowance for the purchase of a home.
