Conehatta Baptist Church was organized in 1841. A new Church Building was completed in October of 2017. We currently have Sunday School, Morning Worship Service, Evening Worship Service and Wednesday Night Prayer Service. We have six active Deacons, WMU, Youth/Children Leaders, Church Choir and a very loving congregation. We are located in a rural area of Newton County, MS. We have a nice 3 bedroom 2 bath Pastorium across the street from the church and a very nice Fellowship Building.
Our former Pastor was here for over the past eight years and has recently accepted a call to First Baptist Yazoo City. We are searching for a full time pastor. Our congregation is made up from several adjoining communities and there is much opportunity for ministry in this area.
