Griffith Memorial Baptist Church (“GMBC”) is prayerfully seeking the person called by God to be the next pastor of our Church. GMBC is located at 5275 Terry Road, Jackson, Mississippi. We are a long-established Southern Baptist church serving both the South Jackson area, as well as the Byram, Mississippi, community. The pastor we are seeking:
must have a Pastor’s heart and possess all the Scriptural qualifications of a Pastor;
have an in-depth knowledge and belief in God’s Holy Word;
subscribe to the tenets of the Southern Baptist Convention and have at least a Master’s Degree in Divinity from an accredited Southern Baptist Seminary;
have a vision for growing the Church;
have a burden for those who do not know Christ as Savior;
interact well with all ages.
The spiritual fields are ripe for harvest in the Byram/South Jackson area, and GMBC is perfectly located to minister to families in this area. The Lord has blessed GMBC with outstanding facilities and a welcoming, ministry-minded congregation.
