Providence is 175 year old Southern Baptist Church located in the Walthall County Jayess Community. Membership for 2023 is 394 with weekly average attendance of 85. Services are held twice on Sundays and a prayer meeting with Bible study on Wednesday evenings.
The deacon body consists of 7 church elected men. The pastor is the only full-time salaried position. The church staff consists of a bi-vocational Youth Minister and a bi-vocational Music Minister.
We are a multi-generational church dedicated to reaching all ages for Christ. A five bedroom, 2 bath parsonage is available.
