New Zion Baptist Church at 275 Andrews Road, near Braxton, MS, is prayerfully seeking the next pastor that God has planned for us. Our long-established church has averaged from 45 to 55 in Sunday morning services since 2020, with room to grow. We believe the Bible is God’s holy inspired word and subscribe to the tenets of the Southern Baptist Convention. Our facilities are located in a peaceful rural setting in northern Simpson County, approximately a half hour south of the Jackson area. The pastor’s compensation package is comparable with other churches our size, plus includes use of a 3 bedroom/2 bath parsonage on site. Bi-vocational ministers will be considered.
