Amaziah Baptist is a small, rural, multi-generational church who strives to show the love of Jesus to everyone who comes through our doors. We believe that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV.
We are prayerfully searching for a pastor that seeks to meet the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7, and to live out the Great Commission in his daily life as well as through leading missions within the church. He should have a deep love for God’s word and a strong understanding of scripture aiming to embody 2 Timothy 2:15, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” ESV
Our next pastor will be responsible for preaching Sundays and teaching bible study on Wednesdays as well as pastoral care and spiritual guidance to the congregation. He will also need to work closely with our deacons to care for any needs that may arise.
If you believe that God is calling you to serve our church please send us a resume and cover letter that shares your qualifications and vision for your ministry to amaziahbaptist23@gmail.com.
