First Baptist Church of Leakesville, MS, is prayerfully seeking a Full-time or Bi-vocational pastor who has a genuine love for the Lord, His Church, and the community we are called to serve.
Located in the county seat of Greene County, FBC is a rural, community-centered congregation seeking a Spirit-led pastor who will build upon our strong foundation of faith and help lead us in fulfilling the Great Commission.
We are seeking a pastor who is committed to preaching biblically sound, Christ-centered sermons and who has a heart for discipleship, families, missions and community outreach. Seminary training is preferred but is not required.
Services are held on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings and Wednesday evenings with a variety of Sunday School classes for all ages, from children to senior adults.
First Baptist Church is blessed with large Family Life Center that is regularly used for dinners on the grounds, midweek meals, bridal and baby showers, blood drives, youth and children’s activities and many other church and community events.
Our ministry staff includes a Minister of Music, Youth Minister and full-time Church Secretary.
We are blessed to provide a parsonage conveniently located just one block from the church. Leakesville offers the welcoming atmosphere of a small Mississippi community and is served by a highly rated local school district.
