Roxie Baptist Church, Roxie MS, is seeking a pastor with pastoral and preaching skills to minister to people of all ages. The established 100+ year old church is a loving congregation whose last pastor’s tenure was 11 years. We have active deacons and a bi-vocational music/youth minister. Located in Southwest Mississippi approximately 25 minutes from Natchez, 10 minutes from Meadville, and 45 minutes from Brookhaven.
The public school system in Franklin County is very good.
Facilities include a 3 bedroom/2 1/2 bath parsonage built in 2005 located on the city block premise that has had interior completely repainted as well as new shower, bathtub, sink & stove installed. The church building houses the upstairs sanctuary (elevator available) and SS rooms. A family life center and gym are connected by a breezeway. The upstairs over family life has a prophet’s room.
Work has been completed on the “barn” for the church van and we are beginning completion of the connected pavilion area.
