Moaks Creek Baptist Church Est. 1870 is prayerfully seeking God’s direction for a Pastor who is passionate about the congregation and the community surrounding it. We are looking for one who preaches sound biblical doctrine, has excellent leadership skills and a mission to not just lead people to Christ but to make disciples of Christ. Our desire is to have a pastor with a servant’s heart, has a passion for prayer and worship with a vision to lead our growing church into the direction God has for us. We have an amazing youth group, a solid and growing children’s ministry as well as active Sunday school classes. We also have available a 4-bedroom 2-bath parsonage with covered parking.
Responsibilities we are expecting but not limited to:
1. Preach and teach biblically sound sermons on Sundays and Wednesdays
2. Provide spiritual leadership and care to the congregation
3. Support the Church in community outreach and visiting as necessary
4. Work collaboratively with other leaders and committees
