First Baptist Church Vicksburg was founded in 1848 and have been ministering to our community’s needs for 175 years. We are bound by nine Articles of Faith and accept the Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention. We are prayerfully seeking a Preschool & Children’s (P&C) Minister.
QUALIFICATIONS
Spirit-filled, mature Christian
Passion to lead P&C in discipleship and spiritual development
Experience in enlisting and equipping workers
Adequately trained and experience in P&C administration
Leadership skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
Give leadership to a comprehensive program of Discipleship and Spiritual Develop for P&C
Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the P&C Ministry at FBCV
Attend all staff meetings
Recruit, train and coordinate workers for the P&C Ministry
Plan and administer a Bible-based curriculum that is faithful to FBCV doctrine
Cultivate a disciple-making community by supporting, educating, and providing resources for parents to foster Christian education within the home
Oversee the use of the nursery facilities
Oversee the upkeep of P&C Ministry materials, equipment and facilities
Perform other duties as may be assigned by FBCV administration
