We are looking for a person who senses God’s call to kingdom service who is passionate about influencing others for Jesus Christ. Specifically, we are looking for a preschool minister who will provide opportunities for spiritual development, regular programming, and special events for children (infants–five years old) and parents. They will recruit, equip, and support a regular group of ministry volunteers, and they will implement and evaluate curriculum. Finally, they will provide a place for parents to trust that their children are safe and receiving foundational spiritual growth.
Carterville Baptist Church is a warm and welcoming church with families, college students, and senior adults who are humble, loving, and willing to serve God’s kingdom through the local church. We have age graded ministries that aim to shape parents and their children in disciple-making followers of Jesus. We have a recovery ministry that ministers to families experiencing various kinds of brokenness with the good news of Jesus.
What can you expect to see and experience on a Sunday morning in our main worship service? People wearing shorts, suits, and everything in between who have gathered together to sing traditional hymns and contemporary songs and to receive quality biblical teaching from our knowledgeable and loving pastoral staff. What can you expect outside of a Sunday morning? We have a church family who lives, serves, and invests time in the Petal community surrounding our church.
