First Baptist Church Indianola, Mississippi, is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to lead our congregation into its next season of ministry. We are a Southern Baptist church with a strong Sunday School foundation, committed lay leadership, active missions and outreach, and a growing opportunity to minister to children, youth, young families, senior adults, and our community. We seek a pastor who is deeply committed to biblical preaching and teaching, sound Southern Baptist doctrine, discipleship, evangelism, and pastoral care.
Previous senior pastor experience is welcomed but not required; qualified associate, youth, or other pastoral ministers who sense God leading them into senior pastoral ministry are encouraged to apply. A minimum of a masters degree from a southern Baptist seminary is required.
