Fair River Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS is prayerfully seeking the full-time Senior Pastor God has chosen to lead and shepherd His Church, to provide spiritual leadership, biblically sound preaching, teaching and discipleship.
We are a 209-year-old Southern Baptist Church with an average Sunday morning attendance of 125. We are a multi-generational church dedicated to the Great Commission with ministries and activities directed to reach all ages for Christ.
Services are currently being held on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. There is a meal offered prior to adult Bible study, youth, and children’s classes. The deacon body consists of 7 church-elected men. The church staff currently consists of a full-time music and Senior Adult Minister, full-time secretary, and a children’s director. Our youth pastor recently answered a call to be the Senior Pastor at a sister church.
We support the MS Baptist Convention, through the Cooperative Program and through missions, both local and foreign. We are also the home church for the Lincoln County chapter of the Baptist Children’s Village.
Lincoln County has a great selection of schools: Brookhaven city schools, four county schools, Brookhaven Academy, and MS School of the Arts.
We have a 4-bedroom 3-bath brick parsonage available, but we are open to the possibility of a housing allowance for the purchase of a home.
