First Baptist Church of Sumrall, Mississippi, a fast-growing community, is actively searching for its next full-time senior pastor. Our multi-generational ministries and activities reach all ages and lead them to grow as disciples of Christ. The ideal candidate will be a man called by God to serve as a Bible preacher and Bible teacher. He shall also have the heart and desire to love and minister to the people of the church and local community.
FBC Sumrall’s full-time pastoral staff includes a Minister of Music, Education & Senior Adults; a Minister to Children; and a Minister to Students (Youth). Weekly services include two Sunday morning services (one traditional and one contemporary); a Sunday night service; and a Wednesday night prayer service.
Senior pastoral experience is required. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, and a seminary degree is preferred. Any interested candidate may submit a resume one of three ways:
