We are seeking a full-time Senior Pastor for Foxworth First Baptist Church. We are composed of men, women, boys and girls from a variety of backgrounds joined together for God’s glory and meeting together for worship celebrations, fellowship, service opportunities, and discipleship. Our desire is to know the Lord and make Him known in Marion County and around the world. We believe, “God has sovereignly brought us together to walk, worship, and witness together in a manner that is friendly, faithful, and focused for His glory!” We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, and we have adopted the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as our statement of beliefs. We seek to be missional in our own community and across the globe. Our congregation meets together Sunday mornings for Sunday School and Worship service, Sunday nights for Discipleship Training and Worship service, and Wed. night for prayer meeting and Bible study. Youth and Children’s ministries meet together Sunday & Wed. pm.
The pastor shall be a born-again Christian, and be called by God to the pastorate, and shall meet the scriptural qualifications contained in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. The pastor is responsible for proclaiming the gospel through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God and personal witness, providing administrative leadership for the church and leading the church in seeking to fulfill the Great Commission. A parsonage is furnished.
