West Carthage Baptist Church in Carthage, MS, is seeking a full-time senior pastor. The man our Lord has selected will preferably have a degree from an accredited seminary and some experience as a pastor. He must have a strong marriage, possess solid organizational skills, have a strong desire to love and shepherd this congregation and community and consider himself a leader among leaders. He shall, with great patience, be ready to encourage, exhort and, if necessary, reprove to maintain spiritual unity. Believing the Bible to be the complete, inerrant Word of God, he will preach the whole Word of the Lord.
WCBC was formed 25 years ago on the west side of Carthage to minister to the ethnically diverse neighborhoods in this area. We have a strong desire to reach our community, state and world with the gospel of Jesus.
