Senior PastorFull-Time

Seeking God’s pastor for Oakdale Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. A missions active church both locally and foreign. Currently two Sunday morning services with about 230 in attendance. First service is 50% of capacity and second is 80%. We have an evening service and a mid-week service.

Church is located in a high growth area with approximately 60,000 people within 6 miles of the church. Have an after school and a very active children’s ministry. Present Christ to the teens at Canopy Childrens Solutions through worship and praise Sunday morning at 11:00 . Monday evenings we lead the inmates at Walnut Grove in worship at 6:00, and “HOP” Monday evening in a local mobile home park and a backpack ministry to the children that likely will not have food for the weekend. Other outreach activities through Block parties at multi-housing facilities and neighborhoods.

Seeking a pastor that will lead in reaching the lost and unchurched; that preaches in the power of the Spirit, that has vision and the leadership skills necessary to develop a team effort to realize the vision. A pastor who would help in the development of an effective youth ministry (perhaps out greatest challenge). Currently have a fulltime student pastor; part time children’s minister, part time secretary, part-time worship pastor and a director of after school.
