Student Minister
The Student Minister is responsible for giving direction to our church’s overall ministry to students grades seventh through twelfth. The Minister will seek to promote disciple-making by planning, promoting, conducting, and evaluating the activities of the church which are targeted towards students and their parents. This comprehensive disciple-making ministry should be well-balanced, including activities in the areas of worship, ministry, evangelism, missions, fellowship, and Christian training. The goal should be to seek to win the lost to Christ, and to help students and their families to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ. The Student Minister is to work with the other staff members as part of the team and should consult with other staff members concerning activities and procedures that relate to their area of responsibility.

Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church is a welcoming, family-focused church in the heart of Meridian, a midsize town in Mississippi. PSDBC blends tradition with modern ministry to engage multiple generations in worship, age-specific discipleship and family centered events that foster deep connections.
