Friendship Baptist Church is searching for a dedicated individual to join our ministry team, with openings for either a part-time Student Minister or a full-time Associate Pastor with a focus on students. Friendship has an average Sunday attendance of 185, with around 20 students gathering each Wednesday. Over the past year, we’ve seen 8 students come to Christ and take the step of baptism, and we’re eager to continue this momentum. We’re looking for a minister who is committed to discipleship, ready to teach and mentor our youth on their spiritual journey.
For candidates interested in the full-time role, responsibilities will extend to include leadership in education and pastoral care. This encompasses spearheading our children’s ministry team, where you’ll collaborate with an existing group of volunteers to implement educational programs, as well as oversee volunteer training and recruitment. This role is ideal for someone who feels called to shape the spiritual lives of young people and is enthusiastic about developing a comprehensive ministry throughout the church body.
