Student MinisterBivocational/Part-Time

Tylertown Baptist Church in Tylertown, MS is seeking a part-time Student Minister. The time requirement is anticipated to be around twenty hours per week. The amount of time spent on the church campus would be mostly limited to Wednesday evenings, Sundays, and any special youth events. Responsibilities would include: setting an example of faith and Christian witness for the students to see and follow, being available before and after services on Sundays and Wednesdays for fellowship and counseling with the youth, leading the Wednesday night Youth Bible Study and Worship time, overseeing the youth Sunday School and other discipleship groups, planning regular special events for the student ministry (summer camp, D-Now, fellowships, etc.), and meeting regularly with the Youth Ministry Steering Committee to secure volunteers in carrying out ministry.
