FBC Ripley in Northeast Mississippi is prayerfully seeking a full-time Student Minister. Candidates should be equipped to help students, grades 7-12, develop a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, develop a biblical worldview, and grow in gospel-centered discipleship. First and foremost, FBC Ripley is seeking someone who has been transformed by the gospel, equipped with the Holy Spirit, and is passionate about seeing the next generation see and respond to Jesus; however, some experience and theological education is preferred. The Student Minister will be responsible for working in coordination with the Ministerial Staff, Youth Committee, and Youth Team to develop and execute a plan to lead students that is faithful to the Word of God and coinciding with the direction of the church. In addition to overseeing student engagement and growth, the Student Minister is expected to oversee and coordinate all planned events including, but not limited to, summer camps, winter retreats, D-Now events, Graduation Services, Point of Life Services, etc.
Ripley is the largest city in Tippah County and is situated in the South Tippah School District. FBC Ripley averaged 45 students throughout 2023 with 75% representing Ripley city schools and 25% representing local county schools.
