Morrison Chapel Baptist Church is located in Cleveland, MS. We are prayerfully awaiting the person God has in store for us, to come and be our praise and worship leader. Our Sunday morning congregation averages between 130-170 people. We also meet on Sunday evenings and Wednesday evenings.
Requirements and responsibilities include: select & organize worship songs & musical sets for services & special events; lead congregational worship during church services & ministry gatherings; develop, mentor, & encourage members of the worship team spiritually & musically; schedule & lead rehearsals for musicians & vocalists; collaborate with the sound & media team regarding audio, lighting & visual media needs; work closely with pastoral staff & ministry leaders to ensure worship services align with sermon themes & church vision; foster an atmosphere of unity, excellence, & spiritual growth with the worship ministry; assist in recruiting & training worship team volunteers as needed; maintain professionalism, preparedness, & flexibility in all ministry responsibilities.
