Arlington Baptist Church is seeking a Worship Pastor to lead and develop our music ministry. We are looking for a man who demonstrates a genuine passion for shepherding God’s people and leading the church in biblically faithful, Christ-centered worship.
The Worship Pastor will serve as a spiritual leader within the church while providing oversight and direction for the music ministry. This individual will work closely with the Senior Pastor and Pastor Team in planning worship services, selecting and preparing biblically faithful music, shepherding church members, developing ministry leaders, and cultivating a culture of worship that exalts Christ and encourages congregational participation.
The candidate must demonstrate Christian character and a family life that harmonizes with the qualifications for church leadership outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:7–9. He should possess proficient musical abilities and demonstrate the ability to lead and develop musicians, vocalists, choirs, and other participants in the church’s music ministry. He must also have a strong commitment to biblically grounded, Christ-centered worship and a desire to serve the local church through both music ministry and pastoral care. Lastly, he should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with the Senior Pastor, Pastor Team, church staff, ministry leaders, and congregation.
